Program

Chicago Permit Fee Structure

This program will introduce the new permit fee calculation method effective June 1, 2008 for the City of Chicago. It will explain the development of the fee structure, define the relevant terms, present the associated tables and provide practical experience in determining permit fees on actual projects.

Attendees will:

1. Become familiar with the scope of governmental services reimbursed by permit fees

2. Develop the ability to use the new City of Chicago permit fee calculation method

3. Become familiar with common interpretations regarding permit fees.
