This program is designed to provide the design community with the knowledge to make informed decisions when specifying a system solution in steel stud wall assembly that will deliver high thermal performance, moisture management, as well as minimize air infiltration in steel stud wall assemblies. We will also tour the Dow Styrofoam Plant in Joliet.

4.    Reduced Air Infiltration with steel stud walls

5.    See the production of Styrofoam (Extruded Poly Styrene) Rigid Insulation product.

Presenters


Norah Prombo of Dow Chemical has been in Architecture Product sales for 10 years.  She graduated from Miami of Ohio with a degree in Architecture and has a Masters in Business from Benedictine University, Lisle, IL. She has presented to the Architecture Community throughout the Midwest while working for Drywall Manufacturers and now with Dow in their Building Solution Division. Norah is a Member of ALA, CSI, and AIA

Jacob Mathew of Dow Building Solutions has been with the company for 7 years and has worked extensively with the architectural community in the Chicagoland area during that time consulting on commercial construction focusing on the roof, commercial wall, and foundation applications regarding the use of STYROFOAM and THERMAX insulations products and TIEMPO+ 2000 TPO Membrane Systems. Jacob graduated from Michigan State University with dual degree in Marketing and Social Relations through James Madison College. He is a member of CSI, AIA, and USGBC.
